Essential oils have have been used for thousands of years and Young Living products are at the forefront of bringing this ancient tradition to modern users, introducing millions to emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness that can be truly life-changing.
Essential oils may be used in many ways. Some common uses are in a diffuser, topical application, and dietary consumption. These methods bring the pure essence of health-promoting botanicals to your home, family, and life. My goal is to share with you fun, simple tools you may integrate into your daily way of being. These oils may be used for creating toxic-free cleaning products, sprays for health and well-being and diffusers to support whatever is going on in your life. I will share easy, fun recipes to refresh your home that take out the mystery of how, when, where, why and when to use these products.
Personally, my eyes were opened wide when I went to a presentation on the difference in oils (which are many) and the benefits of using the high grade, therapeutic oils produced by Young Living. I feel like a scientist (maybe even a “mad” scientist) as I pull out different oils, funnels, jars, diffusers, carrier oils and mix, smell and watch for results. All in all, I have had a few bloopers, lots of creative fun and much success. It makes me feel good to share what I make and see the positive results that people experience and how much they love the products. I’ve incorporated these oils into all parts of my life – feel free to ask me about them!

Here’s What to Do If you get Essential Oils in Your Eyes
Accidents do happen and it’s important to be prepared in case of an emergency. Essential oils are powerful so it is important to mix the essential oil with a carrier oil (almond, jojoba, apricot) and notice if the essential oil that seems to irritate or burn your skin. Testing on the bottom of your foot works well and if there is no reaction you could place on body. Test carefully before placing elsewhere on the body.
Everyone has sensitive eyes so in the event you get essential oils in your eyes follow these steps. Do not put water in your eyes because essential oils and water do not mix. Use a substance that is safe to use in your eyes and that will quickly emulsify the essential oil. Milk or cream do the job nicely. Quickly flush the eye with milk or cream until it stops burning. This should happen almost immediately. At that point, you can flush the eyes with fresh water to remove the milk.
Remember, it is easy to do when working with oils so be prepared. See below:
